Simone Biles is back! She is back in the live broadcast of the gymnastics beam final at the Tokyo Olympics. Team USA all-around champion Sunisa Lee will also compete in the beam final.
Last week, Biles retired from the team final to focus on his sanity. She also did not compete in the all-around finals or in the events for vault, uneven bars and floor exercises.
Yesterday Team USA Gymnastics announced that Biles will compete in the final gymnastics individual medal event.
The top eight gymnasts from the qualifying round advance to the finals, although only two athletes per country may participate in the event.
