Foy joins new Pitt gymnastics class
PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh gymnastics team added Kendall Foy to his incoming class of Panthers, head coach Samantha Snider announced Monday.
Foy joins the talented cohort of Snider Marisa Aiello, Hallie Copperwheat, Nancy Kinner and sidney washingtonwho will each begin their careers at the start of the 2021-22 school year.

Placed first in the all-around and won the Spirit Award at the 2020 Gold Medal Invitational…Qualified 2019 JO Women’s National Championship…Placed sixth on bars and beam at the 2019 Region 6 Championships…Was ranked fourth on beam at 2018 New York State Championships … Won second place on beam and third on bars at 2018 Eastern Championships.
Born December 19, 2002… Daughter of Alayna and Rich Foy… Has two siblings, McKenna and Killian… Planned major is Neuroscience… Attended General Douglas MacArthur High School… Member of National Honor Society and High Honor Roll …Presidential and Renaissance Scholar Award recipient…Science Olympiad medalist…Was a competitive dancer for eight years…His mother, Alayna, played volleyball in college…his sister, McKenna, was in a pre-professional ballet company in New York…his brother, Killian, is a vaunted wrestler who was a runner-up at the New York State Championships.
